Today, on December 24th, I’d like to bid a fond adieu to the newest member of our family, Eugene the elf.
We’ve had a lot of fun over the past month with you and we’re so glad that you enjoyed checking out our house: hiding in the Christmas tree, playing the piano, sneaking into the cookie jar, and even napping in Lily’s dollhouse.
But one of our favorite moments was when you took command of the Barbie house. Those Barbies sure did look up to you!
It was very sweet of you to write notes to the girls when you were proud of their behavior (and even when you weren’t!). We especially loved the note you left this morning to say goodbye. We’ll be sure to blow a kiss to you tonight before we go to sleep! Have a safe trip back to the North Pole. We’ll miss you! See you next year!
P.S. Thanks for the cute Christmas necklaces you left this morning. The girls had so much fun putting them together!
