Pottery by Jill Rosenwald: NYIGF recap

At the New York International Gift Fair, one of the booths I was most excited to stop by was Jill Rosenwald‘s. I’ve been a big fan of her work for a long time and once I found out that her pots are hand-painted and trimmed in 14K gold…well, obviously, I was even more smitten. Here’s Jill:

You gotta love someone that happy!

Each pot is made to order so they are like little pieces of art. Jill is based in Boston and she shares a studio with Erin Gates, the great interior designer behind Elements of Style, one of my favorite blogs. (They even collaborated on a collection. Check it out here.)

Let me remind you as you look at these pieces from Jill’s website that each piece is HAND-PAINTED. It’s makes them even more stunning.I know chevron is a little overhyped lately but I think it’s timeless. I mean, it’s essentially stripes, right?

This more flourishy pattern is divine.

Jill’s lamps. Swoon.

And my personal favorite, her monogrammed trays.

Now, let’s peek at some of the new pieces she showed at the Gift Fair. Check the gold trim on these pieces! Jill has such a way with colors, don’t you think?

Her lamps are to die. Seriously, just scrape me off the floor.

Probably a little too preppy for me but I can’t help but love the navy and green combo.

This color combo literally made me gasp. I mean…that TRAY! That baby will certainly be on my Christmas list this year. (Wouldn’t it look so pretty in my bedroom?)

So nice to meet you, Jill!

More Gift Fair recaps to come. (Sorry for the delay, I just got back from Aruba and I am still on island time!)
